Online Rules

Guidelines/restrictions issued by the authorities due to covid-19 should be followed at all times.

 

Company Registration

  1. Organization Representative (Steering Committee Member) to fill up the registration form on the website to get your organization registered under Swedish Corporate Championship 2020.

 

Plogging

  1. No Pre-Registration Required
  2. Employees to perform the plogging activity in the area of their choice. Click Pictures and go live on social media platforms and tag Swedish Championship.
  3. Organization Representative (Steering committee member) to compile a report including the list of participants in the plogging activity, pictures of plogging attached as proof and submit the report on Website under the plogging section.
  4. Reports accepted in PDF Format only. Only 1 Report per organization.
  5. Families of employees can join in the event and those details can also be part of the report which will count towards points for inclusivity.

No Pre Registration

Event Dates – October 3-4, 10-11 and 17-18, 2020

Post Event Report to be Shared by Steering Committee Member – October 20, 2020

Format of Report:  Organizations are free to prepare report in the format they choose.

Things to include in Report:

  1. Names of Employees who participated in Plogging Activity.
  2. Photo proofs of Plogging Activity
  3. Locations where Plogging Activity was carried out.

 

Additional things you may add to the report (Completely Optional):

  1. Family Participation
  2. Waste Collection
  3. Any other organization you worked with
  4. Any special incidents worth highlighting.

 

Virtual Run

  1. Individual Registration required. After registration, you will receive a confirmation mail.
  2. One Participant can register under only 1 category. Participants registering under multiple categories to be disqualified and not considered for Points Tally
  3. Participants are free to choose the route.
  4. Participants need to run while using the Strava App (available on PlayStore and AppStore Free of Cost). Alternatively, participants can connect their fitness trackers to Strava App and record their run on the App.
  5. One participant to submit only one result (their best timing) through the SCC website. The submitted result to have Strava App Screenshot with Timing, Distance, Date and Time Stamp and Map of the Run clearly recorded.
  6. The timing will be adjusted for the exact distance mark. For Eg. in case the category selected is 5Kms and the person runs 5.2Kms, his timing would be adjusted for the 5Km Mark. Participants are not allowed to submit record for distances less than their category chosen.
  7. The results would be made available on the SCC Website
  8. Family Members or Friends are not allowed to take part in this event.
    Employees (Contractual and On-Roll) of Organizations are eligible to participate in the competition.

 

Rules for the Team Winners

  1. No Separate Team Registrations required. Individual Results will be considered for announcing organization winners.
  2. Top 5 participants from your organization in each category will be selected.
  3. The organization with the combined lowest timing for Top 5 runners will be declared winners for the category.

Steps Challenge

  1. Individual Registration Required. Registrations will be open throughout the SCC
  2. Download the Google Fit App on your phone and start using the App to record every day steps.
  3. Submit your steps count of every week on the website under the Steps Challenge. Attach screenshot of the Google Fit App.
  4. Alternatively, your fitness band can track your activity and connect it with the Google Fit App.
  5. This is a company level competition. Your company’s combined steps will be calculated to find out weekly winners and overall winners.
  6. Organizations have different employee strength. Therefore, in order to create a level playing field, we will divide the total steps by the total employee strength of the company.
  7. Weekly winners will be announced every Wednesday on Website and Social Media.
  8. The Overall winners would be declared based on the combined score of all weeks of the steps challenge.
  9. Family Members or Friends are not allowed to take part in this event.
    Employees (Contractual and On-Roll) of Organizations are eligible to participate in the competition.

 

Registrations Open Throughout the Event

Program Dates: October 12 to December 8, 2020

Submissions :

Weekly Submissions to be received on every Tuesday by 5pm.

Results announced every Wednesday.

 

Online Chess

  1. Individual Registration required for the Online Chess Competition
  2. After registration, all competition details and detailed rules will be mailed to the participants.
  3. Draws will be made available to all participants through a link
  4. All games to be played online through Lichess
  5. Neutral Referees will observe all matches for Fairness
  6. The competition will have a Group Stage (multiple rounds) and then the Knockout Rounds.
  7. Selected matched will be available on Social Media Platforms for live viewing.
  8. Family Members or Friends are not allowed to take part in this event.
    Employees (Contractual and On-Roll) of Organizations are eligible to participate in the competition.

Short Film Competition

Powered By

  1. The theme for the Competition will be revealed soon.
  2. The films shall not be more than 3 (Three) minutes (180 seconds), including the beginning and end credits. Films exceeding this time limit are liable to be rejected.
  3. We encourage employees, their families and friends to be part of the short film.
  4. The short films may be in their original language, but MUST be subtitled in ENGLISH.
  5. The films may be shot in MPEG4 or AVI format. The recommended ratios are: 16:9 / 16:9 Full Height Anamorphic – in DV / HDV.
  6. Employees can be part of multiple short films.
  7. Company Representatives (Steering Committee Members) to submit the short films. Each Company can submit a maximum of 5 Films.
  8. On submitting entry, the participants grant the Organisers, the non-exclusive rights to screen their film / entry on their respective websites and social media platforms.
  9. The best three short films along with Best Concept and Best Story will be decided by a panel of judges.
  10. The maximum voted film will be based on votes for the film on social media platforms.

Online Nobel Memorial Quiz

  1. The Quiz will begin as a Social Media Competition with Questions asked on social media platforms.
  2. Employees need to follow social media pages (Facebook and Instagram) to stay updated about the Quizzes and keep answering for a chance to qualify for the Final Round of Online Quiz
  3. The qualification criteria for the Final Round is maximum correct answers of the social media quiz questions
  4. The final round of online Quiz will be conducted on Google Meet with live streaming available on social media platforms.
  5. The detailed rules of the Final Round will be shared with Participants who qualify for the final round
  6. Family Members or Friends are not allowed to take part in this event.
    Employees (Contractual and On-Roll) of Organizations are eligible to participate in the competition.

Cycling Event

“Cycle to a Greener World”

  1. Individual Registration required. After registration, you will receive a confirmation mail.
  2. Winners will be decided based on Maximum Distance in the month.
  3. Additional Points for every participant completing 300kms in a month.
  4. Participants are free to choose the route.
  5. Participants need to cycle while using the Strava App (available on PlayStore and AppStore Free of Cost). Alternatively, participants can connect their fitness trackers to Strava App and record their run on the App.
  6. One participant to submit the total distance run through the SCC website. The submitted result to have Strava App Screenshot with Timing, Distance, Date and Time Stamp and Map of the Run clearly recorded.
  7. The results would be made available on the SCC Website
  8. Family Members or Friends are not allowed to take part in this event.
    Employees (Contractual and On-Roll) of Organizations are eligible to participate in the competition.

Inclusivity Award

  1. 10 Points are reserved for the Inclusivity Award. These points will be awarded to the most inclusive organization across all the events that are part of Swedish Corporate Championship.
  2. The award will be decided by the Swedish Chamber of Commerce based on the participation and submissions by organizations through the course of SCC 2020
